Lost Southend Kursaal classic toilet block ?

We went there in about 1954. The best fairground we ever went on and much better than Battersea. I still remember some of the attractions, water-chute, switchback and crazy house. Sorry; just reminiscing, nothing to do with the question.

About the same first time for me too.

How about Tornado Smith on The Wall of Death ?

Also the 'Toboggan' . The coppers had White Helmets and Daimler Darts too.

Sorry forumites - East Coast reminiscing.

U.S., north eastern seaboard? Is it...Cable Junction, from Jaws 2? :D

Oh no, that was actually just a movie set, wasn't it. A load of fake boulders strapped onto a barge. Convincing, though.

Agreed, that 'flybridge' sailboat looks decidedly American. I give up.

Dare I say, from the map, it resembles the set for a megabucks-disaster movie?

CIA man Caruso - The bomb is most likely in the north end of the tunnel...but we're not sure...

Secret psychotic turncoat FBI man Malkovich - And, most likely it'll only take out a school-bus or two...

Mayor Hanks - Goddammit, I want that tunnel closed if there's the least chance of civilian harm...

Cigar-chomping Colonel Spacey - I'll send in the semtex-drone myself, show these ball-busters we don't negotiate!

Quiet plain-clothes man Clooney - Umm, there could be another way, gentlemen...
