At least where I am it has.
Spent the last few afternoons down at the boat. even went for a sunset sail last night.
Mostly just pottering about fixing odd little annoyances.

Now we have water on the dock again. I spent the afternoon scrubbing and hosing the accumulated green slime, seagull ****, discarded shells, crab shells dried up starfish carcases and other little presents left behind. By critters, at least the otter prefers my neighbours boat. I like having them around but they definitely have some anti social habits.
I think one of the Bu!@#$s found his way in under my tarp and set up home.

By 5 pm there was about half a dozen other chaps doing the same. pressure washers buzzing all around. never bother to bring mine down just use a scrub brush and some environmentally friendly cleaner which doesn't do much.

Actually quite a pleasant afternoon.

It is good to here that things are brightening up in UK. Certainly spring is wonderful time as you emerge from the darkness and cold. Good luck for a new season.
Meanwhile here I am starting to think about bringing the boat home for the winter. I am doing the last of the night (evening) races tonight but typical of this time of the year not much wind. I might be lucky to get to the start line. On the plus side just as I think winter is coming (even got some rain a week or so back) the weather turns hot with a few days over 30 max and 35 today min 20. Nice in the water doing a scrub not much a/f paint left on the little boat. 'One season following another" sang the fiddler on the roof (or was that fiddler on the boat) olewill
