A Sailor's Tale (Another slideshow!)

Re: A Sailor\'s Tale (Another slideshow!)

Wonderful! It captures the fun and much of the magic of sailing, not to mention family life. And it adds to the evidence that you don't need a 40-footer to get all that.

In due course it would be good if you could give, or point us to, a tutorial on how to create a show.

Excellent - I hope you're well impressed with your efforts. I particularly liked the music - a great start to the week.

Cheers!

Excellent- looks like you have a very nice boat and a crew thoroughly enjoying themselves. Great music too. Thanks for sharing it.

Re: A Sailor\'s Tale (Another slideshow!) - thank you

Thanks for all the compliments - I'm dead chuffed /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

MovieMaker is included with Windows, and I just jumped in and produced a short test quite easily. The hardest part was finding a piece of music that was the right length (free download mp3), then it was a case of jigsawing the pics to fit.

Generally the only picture manipulation was sizing and jpg exporting.

Lundy is my favourite landfall anywhere, and I go there several times a year. Who needs the Med or the Solent crowds eh?......

(PS The first effort is on the Bristol Channel forum /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )
