A Rose between two Brick Outhouses ?

That would be a stunning picture if you could photoshop the interloper in the middle out!

Looks like a club Pimms party going on there. Braces, blazers and straw hats. Very genteel and British :D

What’s the ave age in terms of the demographics and the U.K. mobo er ?
.
How else are you going to get a fresh supply of boats on the second hand market ?
Ps, wasn’t someone asking about a ladder like on the first boat in the pic?

Can anyone explain the joke - if it's a joke - in the thread title?

I don't think those mid-size 'Eighties-style cruisers are ugly - at least compared with the hideous bulbous modern ones...

...but in any case, these three are almost indistinguishable.:confused:

Yes, as per jct1981 above.

OG is deeply envious of the Fairline Turbo 36's, which is unfortunate as there are, er, one or two at the club so the painful reminder that he bought the wrong boat is rammed home at most club outings.
Therefore, he takes the opportunity to have a cruel pop at them whenever he can.
He even has a Fairline Turbo 36 steering wheel fitted on the flybridge so that he can pretend to be living the dream.

;)

Ballerina’s are a bit too skinny and flighty, far better a more robust fat arsed specimen.....and as they say...fat bottomed girls they make the rocking world go round....:)

Looks like an OAP ,s home group like Barchester health care are having an outing .

A,hem...just lets say that anyone joining RCC under the age of 65 is most welcome indeed and can reduce the average age of the club by whole minutes :)
Some of them become very useful members as they know how to answer a mobile phone and more importantly how the club TV remote works.

The observant might notice the captives on the F*********es quietly frying in the sun, while the discerning guests on the Princess, very sensibly relax in the cool shade. !

Surely everyone in the picture is in severe peril, if not 'grave and imminent danger' owing to the sternline of the inboard F/L being made off WITHOUT A LOCKING TURN.

And yet, somehow the people appear to be enjoying themselves. :encouragement:

What is the brown stuff at the bottom of the picture where the water is supposed to be?

That "brown stuff" is full of luverly nutrients which provide the local oyster and lobster populations with dinners, it is well known fact that anywhere you can see the bottom, everything that once lived has probably fled. :)
It also ensures healthy sales of A/F for local chandlers. :(

Thank you David Attenborough.

Aah yes. As a lad diving for cape lobster the biggest were always found gathered round the sewage farms. Sold direct to the restaurant trade.
