We've been thinking about a bigger boat, as since we've been in Milford she's become a holiday home as well as something to go sailing in. Although financially it's not essential we sell her to go larger, I'd hate her to be rotting away on a mooring or in a boatyard with little TLC whilst waiting to be sold. So it's a dilemma. Looking at all the old classics at MH a few weeks back (GRP as well as wood) it occurred to me that taking pride of ownership in a beautifully maintained "oldie" might not be a bad idea in these days of dodgy weather, credit-crunches, etc. If it's going to be sitting on the pontoon, then at least people stop and say "wow...doesn't she look great"...and I don't mean just the wife!
