HEY! Chris You leave my cheapo company give-away Biros out of this. One day they may be collectors items a bit like Faberge Eggs
And you Tony... don't pick on Chris, he's in bed at 7:30pm Anne doesn't let him stay up late, so he has to rely on daytime TV repeats.

Re: Read all about it.........

Its what old geezers like me do. Working life over, oblivion staring me in the face, sat here waiting for Tony's £200 fuel money so we can throw another stick on the fire. A little more respect, if you don't mind young whippersnapper. And as you obviously know a lot more about TV than I do, suspect you have collected a fair amount of 'sadness' on the way :)

Yeah....but if you're still waiting for Tony's fuel £200 who've you upset??? Got mine way back in June...for THIS year..........
Thanks for calling me a young whippersnapper tho...quite the nicest thing anyones said to me for ages......

As for knowing a lot more about TV than you do I was (un)fortunate enough to be involved in sat tv evolution (which seems to have led to programme deteriation)....

Now you've got me really worried. Could be Tone himself, seem to remember a meeting I had with him around 1990. Do you think he is still nursing a grudge just because I said I couldn't imagine his lot ever getting into power?
Mind you I also famously predicted that Windows would never catch on!! So what do I know.

ps how do you get Winter Fuel payment in the Summer. Its likely to have all been spent on booze and loose women before the cold weather arrives.

Re: Read all about it.........

Dunno....could have knocked me over with an empty beercan....one morning in june post arrived (must have been one of the post offices better days!) and there was the notification saying it would be in my bank a few days later cos they wanted me to have it before the evenings started getting chilly. Came in at just the right time to pay for the new mooring lines I needed and a little bit went towards the second hand eberspacher so that made me feel it was ok cos thats heating innit?

And.........I told Clive Sinclair the C5 was a sure-fire hit. Even bought half a dozen
myself to use as mini-cabs.

And..........as far as your last accusation goes, at least I take a bath once a
year..... whether I need it or not.

Sorry about piccie, Sooty forgot to logout before I replied. Which regulars have been censored on page 76 of MBY. Come on is anyone prepared to own up to owning such a small censor box?
