I'm surprised there's not been more comment, she's a fine old launch and a viable project.

The truth is I want someone to take her on to prevent me from doing it.

Now I come to think of it I seem to remember, before David Thompson had her, she belonged to David's Uncle Vernie, not Frank or Geoff. Pretty boat the Springfield. I think in those days - 50s and early 60s she had a full beam wide bridge deck amidships housing a main and small wing engine (?) and the wheel was on the back end of the bridge deck so in the aft cockpit really. She didn't have a shelter forrard.
