We have generally tended to travel as far as possible within our available timespan, for example, a days cruise might see us heading downstream from Windsor, past Lizzies vegetable garden and out of the other side, with a stop for lunch before heading back.

Today, we thought we would try something different, and travel to Windsor, stopping for a bite to eat and a walk around.

And it was very nice!

Only an hour each way, the Dogs loved it too, and we got to touch some Stone walls and sample some local fare.

Mooring at four quid a throw is cheaper than parking too! :)

Funny what you miss sometimes isn't it?

We spotted him entering the Marina.

We waved like mad, and shouted friendly greetings but No Response!

He had his fenders down though.....

Couldn't hear you above the sound of screaming Perkins and crunching GRP I'm afraid Paul!

Try lobbing a few stones next time...

So, where were you? :(

Were you the guy with an armful of gaskets and an exhaust manifold over your shoulder?

Ah...!

OK, I missed you... ;)

No, busy sorting the 12 volt system to the mast!

Got the two gaskets but still waiting for the call from the radiator people.

Rebellion is going to murder me when he sees all the black marks on the deck from the soles of my trainers....!
