A new Weather site for sailors

I just wanted to let you know about a new Weather site for sailors that I've developed, and I thought it could be of use to the users of this forum... It's called PassageWeather, and it provides 7-day wind and wave forecasts for the world.

I am a professional yacht captain, and I developed the site as a service to other sailors, such as yourself... It is a 100% free weather site, with forecasts for just about everywhere in the world you would be sailing.

I just want to spread the word a bit... Check it out, it's a very easy-to-use and fast weather site for sailors... I hope you find it useful...

I would like to recommend this site. I used it recently to provide info to some friends sailing from Easter Island to Chile and the information was superb. Easy to digest and amazingly accurate for such a difficult part of the world, the only inaccuracy was a slight variation in timings of the passing of lows, but hey it was of tremendous help to get within a few hours range....

Yes Have had it in favorites for a while, definatly easy to use, although it doesent seem to give a close up for the Firth if clyde area, normally a fixed colour.

Very nice site, simple and easy to use. However I am unable to select the areas from the menu on the left and have to use the main map, is this because I am using linux?

I've never tried using Linux to browse the site, so I don't know if that's a problem or not... I will try to find a Linux machine and check it out... I'll let you know what I find out...

Great site - only one comment - well from me anyway, being colour blind, I find it hard to match the colours in the wind strengths to the chart.

I also have the same, using XP and Netscape. Maybe a netscape problem?
