A mad question

Anyone have an idea how much it would cost to transport "Toscana" accross to the US. Say Southampton to Florida.
Just a crazy passing thought!

Just basing it on various comments people have made in other similar threads for a roughly 40' boat. If you get serious, go look up the recent thread in scuttlebutt, and have a look at Mirelle's article on shipping boats, some methods are vastly safer than others if you want Toscana to arrive undamaged

i agree about £ 4000 but take off everything that can be pinched props etc etc, as they go missing frequently. best to get it shrink wrapped to help protect it.

also allow 1% of value for insurance.
