A lot of money for a mooring?

Does this offer value for money?

I accept that anything is worth what the buyer would pay, and the plot gives the ability for someone to have their own mooring. But it does seem a lot for 43ft. That said, there is also a mooring for sale on our island.

That is stinking cheap. You cease paying mooring fees and sit on an increasing asset. Plus you can picnic, put up a shed, have who you want there, do repairs and maybe one put a caravan or something.

You're better off with a bankside mooring (if you're on an island already, you'll know), even if separated by a narrow cut, it can be a complete pain.

With a bit of land you can erect a "temporary building" as others have suggested, and you don't have to share with others.

Grab it man!

True Blue is talking sense. Someone I know has bought a plot near Cleeve and reckons its the best thing he's ever done. He's put up a 'temporary' structure and kitted it out with cooker etc., he put a portapotti in an even smaller shed behind and loves just going there even if he isn't boating.
