A little project I've been working on.

I wanted to fit a solar powered fan on my cabin roof.

I made a plinth for it to sit on, plinth needed to have a curve underneath.

I transfered the curve onto a bit of ply and then came up with this

I've done about a 1000 strokes and its 40 grit paper, now looks about right, I'll offer it up on the cabin tomorrow evening.

If for any reason this does not work out, try again using closed cell foam, easier, faster, lighter and will never rot, also available in any colour or texture.

Sorry but it does look a OTT for a fan mount. Top marks for effort though.

.......and the built up ply will look great with a few coats of varnish. Pukka job.
