Well worth a look....PLA notice.
The PLA want to persuade owners of houseboats to use better bits of string to tie their boats to the shore.
Houseboat owners whinge about wash and want to be left alone usual tripe about grandfather rights being wheeled out.
How many houseboats anywhere on the Thames below Teddington either have or use a holding tank and empty it correctly,surely well into the 21st century they do not not just dump untreated raw sewage into the tideway ?

Best not to print...50 sheets and the last 25 are an identikit letter from a bunch of owners stating identical points of view.
The clippers do come in for bit of stick but in my experience they are not the worst offenders by long way,its the massive trip boats keeping to a tight time table and those blimming ribs flying up and down.
Perhaps they could be persauded to do the tight turns and acrobatics down beyond the Woolwich ferry.
Still the trip through London would not be the same without the sounds of your TV and crockery bouncing around on the cabin floor.
