A hanging offence?

<<<What a shame! I was hoping they'd make an example of somebody.>>>

I would have to go along with you on that, perhaps not for flag offences, but for some things. From time to time my left leaning PC friends accuse me of having political views to the right of Genghis Khan with respect to politics and punishments.

Re: rushing in for another dramtic courtroom scene

If we'd had any sense this would have been our national flag. We'd have gone in with the USA and not with those foreigners over the Channel.

I can really sympathise with you Byron. We used to get along just fine with the Americans, but we now have a female Prime Minister who seems to hate their guts (she fawns over your Tony though!). We are paying the price.

Byron! Really I've just had my dinner!
Mind you what an incentive to keep up the flag etiquette!
