A great day

Managed to persuade a friend that a few cans of beer by the river was worth him helping me start the prep to get Tristan ready for her relaunch later this week. So Sunday saw me at the boat yard, time constraint meant I had to start with the hull instead of the top sides so I dont have to try polishing that when she is back in.

A good wash down with shampoo, halfords rubbing compound all over, more shampoo and then two coats of polish and wax, every season the way she comes up for a 30 years old boat amazes me.

Arms and shoulders ache like mad this morning and he certainly earn't his beer. Now wishing I could take the next few days off to complete the rest but work is crazy, so that will wait now until next weekend when she is back in.

Great to be back, weather was perfect and the river was dead quiet.

Does you credit; I went to attack the winter slime with a pressure washer, found that the pressure washer has suffered a bit of frost damge, so I just thought "s*d that" and went out on a dirty boat for a very enjoyable pint with Gavi and Mrs Gavi (c:

I looked for twitching curtains on Saturday morning but couldn't see any as we went past.
