I was suggesting (tongue in cheek, you understand) that the Thames continuing to roll down to the mighty sea was a virtual certainty. How many of us will continue to enjoy boating on it seems somewhat less certain. My licence this year is over £500 and I, for one, am beginning to question the cost of 'enjoying' the river.

Me too, mines £590.

Still the glossy magazine that came with the license was very good quality and does keep all the numpties in work. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Just wished that we could have a users action list so that they could spend the money on things we actually wanted, like DREDGERS for example? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: Dredgers

You've been on about dredgers all the time I've known you, when you gonna learn? - Give up and have wheels fitted to the keel next time the boat gets lifted.

Just wondering when we will have to fit a grill over our props - Health and Safety you understand, some rare fish could hurt itself on those babies!!! (Hic /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif, I'll go back to sleep now.)

Re: Dredgers
