Saw you heading down river with the kite up. How far did you get?

With this bitterly mild winter I'm kind of regretting coming out of the water a couple of weeks back. Fortunatley its not too long now till the boat is back in the water.

Turned back just short of Shotley. No point going any further,
Big COSCO container ship on the move (fore and aft tugs) would have meant very little room to manouevre and little wind too.
And as if that wasn't enough, it started to rain

I saw the COSCO ship manoeuvre you mention, but particularly couldn't fail to notice the rain, just as I arrived at the boat! (Having set of for the drive in brilliant sunshine.)
