Took my boat round there today from Bradwell for a small rigging job. They said I could stay all week as long as I was gone before the next weekenders turn up. Very fair, I thought.
A very murky day out there, had to motor down to the Bench Head and then a nice sail down through the Raysand Channel. A first time for me - got there a bit early 1.5 hours before HW - got down to 0.2 on the sounder. Glad SWMBO wasn't there as she is nervous of this fin keel after a small bilgekeeler. Holding your breath for that long is a bit tricky!
First time into Burnham (by boat) and hope to see more of it when we leave next Friday. Sun came out as soon as we arrived. Typical.
