I now live somewhere where Moose....

..roam wild in the woods
..are a real traffic hazard - in a car vs moose accident the front seat occupants usually end up dead or seriously injured. (Mooses being tall heavy animals, the legs get knocked out from under em and they land on the top of the car.) The buggers like the salt on the road y'see so wander onto the highway and BANG!
..Are hunted. In fact SWMBO's Uncles have shot their moose already this winter
..are eaten regularly. Last night in fact. Oven roasted moose steak with some peppers, onion, can of tomatoes, celery and red wine. Delicious!

Moose is a very lean meat. Doesn't taste gamey at all like venison. Very healthy and low fat. I recommend it! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
