Well ladies and gents lots of you prob dont know me as i see lots of new faces on the forum however i just had to thank my good friends Mr & Mrs Full Circle for their generosity over the last three weeks and for their hospitality over this weekend aboard Full Circle with a very pleasant if a little slow sail from Bridgemarsh to Pagelsham and then back this morning.

That coupled with good company good food and a glass or two have brought our brief return to the east coast to an excellent conclusion.

Lynn and Jim thank you both for a lovely weekend and we will continue to badger you the visit us aboard Artemis on our east coast sooner rather than later

And what a fab day, both yesterday and today.
We finally got the furling cruising chute correctly hoisted, and sorted out the hoist drop and furl process. Seems weird having 2 furling gears up front.
Dinner last night was a home made lasagne and an almond cheesecake from Mrs Artemis, and, ahem, a few glasses of vino collapso, whilst hanging off a Roach Sailing Association mooring in Paglesham Reach.
Wow, what a night sky! Fantastic canopy of stars, very very clear, and warm.
Oddly, the very early morning mist only seemed to be Paglesham side, as the cows on the sea wall on Potton Island were clearly there to be seen and heard.
The Roach was like a mill pond, not a breath of wind, and so warm, it was 20c at 9.15 this morning. We cast off with the last of the ebb on tickover, and motored all the way back to Bridgemarsh. I actually ate the lovely egg and bacon breakfast whilst seated comfortably at the cockpit table, while Henry the autopilot steered us down the Roach at 2 knots.

Thanks to all on board for a wonderful weekend.

Bye Bye Artemii - see you again on your return. It will be a bit colder then.

I have arranged for a sunny and warm winter.

My snow tires arrive tommorrow.

Can I see the wine list says my old man
Yer we got all the wines.. Red White Rose says the landlady of the Brewers Arms

Dad couldn't believe his ears...

If you are expecting fines wines, bring it with you and pay a small corkage charge. The house wines are drinkable to me.
