Pleased to say weather was excellent(one brief torrential downpour) and all tickets were taken.the event was attended by The PM who arrived in some rather smart civvy helicopters along with a minor royal or two.We did bag a neat spot right underneath all the action but was told to B.....off by the water rozzers as we were in the exclusion zone.
This pair did create a bit of wash and had to restrain the wife from getting on the blower and giving them a piece of her mind.
A minesweeper and escort prepare for their run ready to be attacked by "pirates"
The helicopters decide it all looks fun and decide to join in.,as do the RE and Marines.Chopper buffs will probably correct me but I think we had an Apache a Gazelle and a Sea King?
The BBMF pay us a visit
And so do the Red Arrows on their way back from Biggen Hill
Most impressive bit of kit on display was the Apache helicopter, which I totally failed to get a decent picture of. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
