Ban the man ! It's winter here !

The rest of the world has just been cut off from Exmoor by heavy rain and pr*ts who think they can drive ordinary cars through 2 ft of floodwater.

PS yes lovely photo, really lovely. Just how kids should learn to sail /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Look on the bright side - it is obviously a high-maintenance boat, so there will be lots of q's on here about how to look after the teak decking and the brightwork and how to stop the winches going green /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Is that that the recently built/restored 12 metre Kate off St Kitts?

[/ QUOTE ] It is indeed Kate, the 12 metre launched in 2007.

I was lucky enough to crew on, and live aboard, her in the recent Golden Rock Regatta.

[/ QUOTE ] Witha biot of oil treatment it comes up great.
Twister Ken, your reputation is intact, it is not teak.
Damo, nor is it pitch pine.
I seem to recall it is possibly fir/spruce (hull is Sitka spruce )of some kind but will check for you.
