Off into the Princes Channel, Red Sands Towers nearby and Shivering Sands in the distance.

A nice few days away with friends and our first coastal hop since buying the boat, a few snags to sort out but enjoyed being out and about again.

Was u using I pad for nav

I left Ramsgate at 5 am on Saturday just missed you Al,

And I used My Ipad all through my Journey from Amsterdam back to Faversham Inland and at sea
I use an APP called Embark which is free once charts are loaded the GPS works with no problem even when phone signal or internet stop at sea.

Yep, no problem although it was on a rising tide, timed to arrive at Cuxton at high tide. There was about 4 metres through the Copperas channel.

Damn Tom, we got there Friday afternoon, didn"t know you were there.

Those pics brought back pleasant memories from our delivery trip back in 2007, when we took the same route from Gillingham to Ramsgate.

Looks to have been a successful trip for you, congrats on the new boat!

Thanks for posting.
