Mr & Mrs FC have been lured off the water for this weekend by these people....our daughters boyfriends parents....

who we took sailing back in June. They loved it.

They own a chipmunk

and so the return venue is Great Gransden airfield for a days flying.

Gulp. Lets hope we love it too.

We will be in Cambridge for booze and scran tomorrow night, if anyone fancies a gargle. Give me a ring.

We will be back after the weekend. With luck.

Over thirty years since I last flew in a Chipmunk, had a great time and I'm sure you will too. Loved flying it but had to return control to the pilot for all the complicated stuff, like landing it. He did teach me how to do some barrel rolls and loops though, excellent fun.
