They look great. :D

I'm selling this at the moment and was invited on board her to dine at the weekend.

Incredible yacht, a proper little ship but capable of being sailed two handed. Currently being sailed by a couple in their sixties. The owner has spent 5 years restoring her and the quality of work and time spent wouldn't have left much change out of about half a million if she had been put into a yard for a re-fit.

Told swimbo to sell the house and wer'e leaving I've found the boat. She said ok then, which has thrown me a little.

Am I right in thinking she's moored (or was) at Itchen Marine Towage or thereabouts? I've definitely had a good gawp each time I passed by :D. Looks even better in that picture.

Pete

Yes she was there for a while but arrived in Falmouth last week where she will spend the winter.

Unbelievable attention to detail from the owner for her re-fit. I was staggered.
He used to run a classic yacht restoration yard in the Itchen about 15 years ago.

Oy you lot, this isn't a boat sales thread, it's about little square riggers so clear off :p

Jonic's one is a square-rigger of sorts though.

Not sure I agree with the "brigantine" label though. It's more of a topsail schooner, although you then need to shoehorn the word "staysail" in somewhere to indicate that there's no gaff foresail. "Topsail staysail schooner" sounds a bit silly, so I can see why they chose the label they did.

Lovely boats - and I have great respect for them - we have enough trouble with two sails - look at the number there!
