A wonderful couple of days on the boat this week. Some photos for those who might be interested. A short trip up to Pangborne Meadow and then back through Henley and onto Marlow.

My friends (from the Solent) were struck by how friendly everyone is on the river. Lots of banter in locks and people willing to rub along... mostly!

BTW...lovely boat, Mr Jones.

Passed you both ways this afternoon moored at Shiplake as we went down for an important business meeting at the G&D

'Breakfast at the Showboat' - Interesting, as we used to be regular breakfast visitors (mooring at Harleyford) but then told a few weeks ago that they had stopped doing breakfast and were only offering it to B&B guests. They turned away six covers from a regular customer...

Make sure you wave next time! I hope we will actually meet soon.

Regarding breakfast we had a sausage sandwich... they did tell us that they used to do the full monty but stopped due to a lack of demand.
