Some while ago the first mate dropped the lazarette cover into one of the deeper parts of Mill Rythe. Since the anticipated droughts of the last few years have failed to dry the channel sufficient for the thing to re-surface, I am now forced to consider replacing my emergency replacement (The aluminium is age hardening...) Does anyone know the whereabouts of the original moulds or does anyone have a lazarette cover from which I can take a moulding?

Listang was a 1/4 Tonner (it won the Cup). Designer Klaus Feltz. UK ones were built at Burnham-on-Crouch (as were the T24's?) until superceded by the Robber 1/4 Tonner.

Totally agree with you about the fast bit (much faster than T24), the 'not pretty' bit, and the confusing post!

The Listang mould is currently undergoing a refit and normally sails on the Colne. You did read this correctly, the interior hull finish is wonderful.
