75 MPH 140' super yaught

That links a few years old and has been posted before. The ability to steer at speed would be nice and I don't like the styling. Octopussy was a nice looking boat from the outside. Didn't they lengthen it and spoil it a bit though?

They've changed quite a bit over the years, right down to removing the gas turbine. It does about 20knts now. When she first came to the Med we were squeezed next to her at the San Remo show. As she was leaving early, the skipper had to point the wing jets to opposite sides and "blow" the boats either side apart to leave. It looked pretty cool.

Question for JFM. I see that "Octopussy" has been renamed "Octopussy 007" (http://ns2.superyacht.info/fleet/3001266/OCTOPUSSY_007).

Presumably to free up the name Octopussy. But I thought that numerics didn't provide uniqueness of name. Perhaps prefixing '7' by '00' gives uniqueness on the register?

So 'Match 003' might be OK but not 'Match 3'.
It's SVG flagged though and they are much more relaxed. These naming rules are not universal - each country/flagging authority has its own rules. UK rules/registry seem among the toughest, which sadly loses us business in the pleasure boat world but jobsworth administrators never see that bigger picture. I'm sure the UK reg would not allow Name 007 and Name to be registered, except by the same owner
