I have just come across what must be one my all time "love to own" Motor Yachts. The Motor Yacht is a 1964 example of the Silver Ormidale class built by James Silvers of Roseneath called Silver Buccaneer.
She is planked in teak below the waterline with mahogany topside, laid teak decks. Varnished mahogany superstructure with twin Gardner 127 HP engines.
She is under cover at Sandpoint Marina in Dumbarton (used to be Macalester's) and is just a joy to see with her two large props, stabilisers, bow thruster. Just oozes strength and seaworthiness.
