Looking for some up-to-date info on boat-sheds in/near Thames estuary that can take/hoist a 40+ tonne 52 foot GRP Twin Screw Motor Yacht that is in serious need of a bum clean and some substantial internal renovation...

Apologies for not addressing your precise questions but:
Shepperton Marina (non tidal Thames) has 70T crane plus hard standing (no shed)
Tim Barfield Hampton (Non tidal Thames) has 2 dry docks (one is covered)
South Dock Marina London has a crane, but not big enough for you.
I think there is a crane at Leigh on Sea Marina (capacity unknown)

Zum, your vessel might fit into our dry dock, need to know beam and weight, length goes.

If you can make it under Hammersmith Bridge, I think the EA dry dock at Sunbury is still available to rent.
