Dont expect much for the fenders but the seat should be worth a few bob -interest?

I'll be interested in your Faded Fenders.
Would stop the battered steelwork at my exclusive mooring scratching what's left of my paintwork....

No room to drive my vessel from the comfort of a matching bucket seat, though.

Oooh, just noted the hinged hatch below the seat. Was the previous owner Sweeney Todd?

Dunno how you're two bums on the new one; looks like the inboard person runs the risk of tipping off and falling down the companionway....

The new duo helm seat manufactured to size for me by messrs Toomer & Hayter of Poole is indeed most excellent. Ordered just three weeks ago and delivered yesterday precisely to specification c/w captive nuts in base board ready for fixings.
Temporarily fitted on existing pedestal but hoping to get a box base knocked up next week in time for the Easter cruise. Damn good service and at £199 +VAT & carriage I ain't complaining about the price, either.

It's 82cm wide which is adequate for two friendly bums and will move about 10cms further outboard when the box base - which will be nicely varnished and provide extra storage - is in place.

Oops - forgot to mention that I am in the doghouse because, sadly, no room for the dog :(

That looks a neat bit of kit and at that price very good value ?
If I had your money might be tempted to buy one just like it.

Too many dials to make it relaxing!

Not a problem at all as most don't actually need looking at.

Twin engines so two of everything.
RPM - useful for matching engine revs to avoid 'beat' frequency but hearing just as good as seeing and often more acute.
Oil Pressure and Temperature - audible alarms as well
Voltmeters - audible alarm if not charging when running
Fuel and water - no need to watch them all the time
Holding tank - oh poo !

No doubt someone will disagree .... :(

Why two engines?
Because there is not enough room in the engine room for four.....

Do you know what ETOPS means in aviation? It is what applies when a twin engined aircraft operates long range over water and stands for "Engines Two Or Passengers Swim" !!

:)

AND... get you home when half way across the channel when one packs up.
AND... make your manoeuvring easier.

Perhaps Ians comment referred to the fact that in the event of an engine failure with B1 in command the opposite bank at Windsor is a tad nearer than that at Calais.
