Having read that 5200 is a moisture curing sealant, would I be correct in thinking that application to a surface that was slightly damp wouldn't adversely affect the bond, but would decrease the curing time?
Any suppliers of this stuff in the uk?

I have never found any material known to man that will inhibit the bond between 5200 and any other material. It is the most incredible adhesive, but if you want to seperate the bonded parts at any time in your lifetime do not use 5200! I once had to separate some parts bonded with 5200 and I asked 3M if there was a solvent I could use. They told me there is nothing that will de-bond this material, the only method is to use a very sharp knife.
Sorry, I don't know where it is available in the UK.
