I have so many sheds at my house I have decided to name each one to help when I shout at here indoors where something is. I decided to design and print a plaque for the shed on my little Ender 3 Pro 3D Printer. It got me thinking that this could also be done for boats of course for all sorts of signs and even boat names. Size could be an issue on a big boat but loads of possibilities.

Here is the plaque for one of the sheds named after our dog. This one is 220 mm x 50 mm raised approx 8 mm. On my printer your could print anything 250 x 250 x 300 mm.

Another little use for the printer and a little bit of fun

Nice, did you print the letters in a different colour filament or paint them? I've got an Ender 3 and I'd like to try a filament change half way through.

It was a filament change. I designed the sign in Tinker Cad (Very easy) and the secret is the letters are raised. So I start off with Black filament and when it has printed the base then gone a little way up the letters I pause the print and then change the filament to Red. Then just click on resume print and off it goes.

Have you used TinkerCad before ?
