i am fitting an st 2000 tiller pilot does anyone know what size of brackets i need to order as i wont be able to go to the boat for mesuring before the weekend but would like to get them orderd

You need to go to the boat to measure what you have, otherwise there is every chance you will order the wrong bracket. The ST2000 comes with a socket for the pin at the fixed end, but you (generally speaking) need an angled brachet (or possibly even straight ie nothing) depending upon your layout for the tiller.
