Good day all.
I how a birchwood 33 classic with twin 150 hp Perkins HT6354 diesel engines. This engines are in good condition and run well but need to be serviced as one started to leek oil and water , i know they are old and use a bit of fuel ,I wonder if somebody can advise on the following.
1- Is it worth to replace the engines for more HP engines?
2-how much more power can i put on this type of hull and will it reflect on performance, speed v consumption .
the HP 6354 are rare and difficult to find spares they are noisy and the consumption is high i would like to have more speed and fuel efficiency.
