Have a look at southampton for that date and you will see a -0.1m low tide, loads of down to 0.1m or 0.0 m low tides , so keep an eye on your depths guys.

We've already had 0.0 in Poole. Coming up to Equinox springs

Now we all understand springs and neaps, but why are tides biggest around the equinoxes, are we closest to the sun at these times,or sumfink?

Yup that's about it. The most dramatic tides will occur when there is a spring tide coinciding with an Equinox.
