I have an old cell router, which connects to a Mobile phone network and then converts the data to Ethernet. It was designed to work with a power brick which converts 230volt AC to 3.2volts DC with a maximum output current of 2amps.

I'd like to try and use it on the boat, I could use a small inverter and the original power brick, but I'd really like to run it off the boats 12volt system.

So I need a DC to DC power supply which takes a nominal 12volts DC input and outputs 3.2volts with a maximum current rating of 2amps.

Any suggestions as to where I can buy or how I can build a suitable DC to DC converter?
