Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time to organise the 2nd annual Laying Down SUpper of the YBW.com East Coast Forum, and others.

I propose to retain the venue of West Mersea, and try to secure the Yacht Club this time, or to get the Packing Shed on the island in the middle of the creek.

I further propose that this event shall be the 3rd Weekend in October, 20th-21st.

We had a flood last year, and people arrived in boats and cars, stayed locally, or simply got lost (eh T25? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif). My dim recall says 27 sat at the table including anklebiters, who are very welcome of course.

Line up and shoot me, but have your own alternative plan to hand, if you please?

Not good for me FC. We will be in Cyprus until that Sunday evening which is a shame as tides look good for that weekend.

But what the hell Sunny Cyprus with cheap booze cheap food friendly locals suppose i can put up with that instead

What's a laying down supper? We don't all have to put our boat keys into a bowl do we? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think it should be a laying UP supper /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

but suspect there may be a lot of falling down juice consumed which makes it laying down /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

D3B and sweet pea will be attending.......havent told her yet.. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
we shall require accomodation as its unlikely we will be able to make a passage at that time.

The first annual East coast laying down /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif supper is cronicled Here and was a very enjoyable first sail for T25 /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif even though we were late arriving as usual /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
The attendance was pretty good even though one decided to go a little bit , ahem , aground /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif at a time when the tide was just turning , having reached its highest point for years , sorry Roger , I'll not forget that too soon /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
For this years event , T25 & MrsT25 have gratiously accepted an invitation to join the Morgana crew so unless things go wonky , we look forward to joining all for another supp and slurp /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
No purchasing of question marks this year if you don't mind Jim /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Neil , I believe , is biassed towards the , erm , shack on the island ? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif as the venue , though I'm easily confused /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Why? I thought that this was a method to stop people from drinking and sailing, unless there is another hidden meaning i'm not aware of?

SWMBO says yes. So we will be along, although we will wimp out and drive up from Burnham /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Someone going to post directions nearer the time?
