The girls certainly didn't expect to be out on the ski.

Took the opportunity to scrub off the hull underside, the water was the clearest I have ever seen it.

The girls first off, what a day to do it, we had the bay to ourselves and got over to them quickly.

I still can't work out how she managed to get on top without righting the ski, she said that she thought a fish was going to get her!

We didn't get the boat out today, ongoing work to the flap gate at Conwy Marina was planned making access and egress unpredictable. There was a large wooden motorboat on fire out by Puffin Island as we left to return home, hope everyone was OK, the ALB had been launched from Llandudno and fire fighters were being collected at Conwy by the ILB with thermal imaging gear, there were gas bottles on board.

looks like a perfect time had by all !............ i washed the car!!! ..................ps. (where can i get a set of stern mounted rocket launchers for my s24)

Westmarine.com a very efficient and quick delivery service to UK, choose the own brand rather than Perko, they are much cheaper.

Hi James, great! pics we saw you in the bay I always enjoy seeing La Traviata she certainly is one good looking boat. Days like that in Conwy certainly are special and make it all worth while.
Cheers
Andy

Re pic 1: yes!
Re pic 3: no! that is Conwy mountain.

Yes, in picture 4 the entrance to the tunnel is just in front of the bow.

There are not many days that you can do this in the bay as it generally faces the prevailing wind and it is also shallow, but on a day like Saturday there are not many safer places to let the kids have a go on the ski.

The near end ( to the river and golf course ) of the beach and forshore is rock strewn, have a look from the car park at low water, it is easy to see where it is safe and clear of rocks, almost opposite the Aberconwy caravan site.

Andy , thanks

Thanks for the explanation. Looks like you had a great day. I unfortunately have missed out on the last two weeks of good weather due to work etc. Hoping for another good un his weekend /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
