The inaugural 'Chentleman's Cruise' set sail.
Being May and a Bank Holiday to boot it rained hard and blew all weekend. The intrepid explorers, Jimi, Parahandy and self were not dismayed, we pounded through showstopping seas and rain that hurt, to Tobermory. Para proffered a tenner to the harbour master for a mooring for the night and looked dismayed when no change was offered.
My Specialite du Bateau - Choufleur de Fromage was delicious although Jimi didn't think so as he likes to be a stranger to the humble Collie.
We drank a fair bit, but survived the night. As dawn broke (that's around 10:30 for Para) we demolished a choir of toast and a full flitch of Lorne Sossidge washed away with a 95% artery blocker of fried eggs. The Oxford Marmalade gave us the vital vitamin C's we needed and some time later - seemed like quite a long some time later, the Log assures me that we reached Craobh Marina where we got well pished and ate a lot.
Happy days - been friends ever since.
