20ft boats, storage container needs home near the Hamble

Hi, after 11 years at Moody's Marina, unfortunately the new owners Premier want all Dry sailors gone, and while I have found a home for the boat, I need somewhere for my container of sails etc, can anyone help?

Hi, nice try, a bit to much wishful thinking on your part I feel, no I am looking for somewhere to store it, and of course pay for the privilege.

I would have a chat with Gill at Drivers Wharf on the Itchen, probably a bit cheaper too. In addition to boats they store lots of marine related items, moulds, new hulls, projects etc.

Not exactly what I have heard. Though more than doubling the hoisting costs will certainly have that effect.....

Have also heard that it's a temporary measure whilst the whole site is re-done as they will lose a lot of space.

You could try asking the lads on the chandlery barge across the road and up the river a bit - they've a fair bit of land there for dry sailors

From the inside, I know they view themselves more as a property development company than a marina company, which is a shame I think.
