Hi guys, new to boating and just bought a 2023 Darragh boat to fish from with my son.
I'm in the process of stripping it back to the gel to repaint. I wondered if anyone had any sanding tips that they could share with me? I plan to start from 80 grit then up to 120 and finish with 240 before primer. After primer maybe use 400?
My question is whats the best way to get into the ridges whilst sanding? Any tips? My tool options are an orbital, single speed grinder a mouse or a standard sheet sander.
Also how many coats of primer would people normally apply?
