2013 250s Verados issue shifting

Hi,

I have twin Verados 250 2013. Recently, after running fine, one would go into forward but when I tried to reverse, it sounded like gears not engaging. After a while returning home, it worked fine. Boat was put up on lift.
Today when I went to take out out of the water for the service the opposite motor is doing the same thing but going into forward. Reverse works fine

any thoughts? Someone told me its electronic controls adjustments. My mech is coming Tue but I wanted some advice.

Check connections on the shift actuators at the front of the motor block, low down. Then do a recalibration of the DTS throttle/shift levers.
