Hi all, I've been down to our boat in Gosport today. Wretched weather but I managed to jetwash our boat clean again. We've got a Merry Fisher 725 Legende - blue hull and white topsides.
Problem is, I've noticed that compared to other boats berthed alongside, our boat is going distinctly "cream" coloured. It does looked like it's yellowing noticeably.
It was only built in 2011 and the boat alongside is an 80's yacht - still white.
What can I do? Is this likely to be just the gelcoat on top, or the fibreglass? People have referred to Y10 but that seems to be for water stains - this looks like an overall colour change - perhaps due to UV light?
Thanks for any advice...
