Well, it was a great day out, but more due to the company I went with, a few people I chatted with, & the fact I don't get out enough! (sorry, "with whom", etc., etc.)
Compared to the shows of a few years ago, there were few boats, especially sailing boats, the smaller, the fewer(?)....... Almost only motor boats outside.
A lot less chandelry, especially the smaller independents.......
(I'm not going into the "whys", just what was.....)

The layout was great, & Excel lent itself well to hosting the show, with abundant food & resting space in the central hall.
Don't know whether I 'll rush to go again....I was after a few bits of chandelry to help kit out a replacement boat, most of which I was unable to find/obtain.
Still, many will enjoy it hugely, & I hope the exhibitors do well?

Who is making the sub 30 foot family cruisers for tomorrows second hand market, to enable those to come to cruising tomorrow & the days thereafter....?

I too went yesterday, it was the worst attended I have seen. BUT it was a joy to get around all the stands and talk to the sales people who all seemed genuinely pleased to have someone to talk to. Eating too was great, such a choice of tables.
I still spent the whole day there, bought a few bits for the project, and swimbo didnt mind.Great.:):):):)

We enjoyed it, but attendence did seem low. Managed to come way only about £250 worse off - significant improvement on last time!
