its different /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I tried Office 2007 for a few months as a Beta. It was horrendous!!! Finally went back to Office 2003 and wouldn't touch 2007 with a barge pole!

Do you have any idea of the thousands of hours of Microsoft research that prove the Office 2007 ribbon bar is better for you than those clunky old cascading menus?

Ah, Sailorman - wait till you send someone an email with a Word 2007 attachment. They will not be able to open it, and you will have to send it in 'Compatibility Mode' - in other words as a Word 97/2003 document! I have new machines on 2007 and old on 2003, and I have got over the learning hump and prefer 2007. But why did MS do so much in one go? The hump is pretty big - try converting text to table or summat like, and where are the replace text tools - under another tab, probably well hidden /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
