2007 Navionics chart. Update it?

Had mine for 3 years now. Suppose I should be thinking about having it updated? Can you just do an exchange with a Navionics dealer or do you send it off?

Do others here update their electronic / paper charts every year?

Not every year. These days, they charge you something like half the cost for an update

I've just had mine done earlier this year - I had a 2008 XL9 and although you pay 50% of the cost of a new chart for the "update" what you actually get back is a whole new chart on a new card. I only get mine done every three years or so, any more than that and there aren't enough changes to justify the cost.

Take it along to your local Navionics dealer and all you have to do is hand over your payment. Its as easy as that.
