2001 Volvo 74 EDC issue

Hello,
I am having an issue with my ( I believe to be edc controller ) once I put key in " on Position" and power up the edc panel with green light in N position, Stbd engine starts fine then Port engine will try to crank but just engage started for half a second then lose power to port edc contol panel.
I have to turn port ignition switch back to off position then reset the edc panel but every time I try to start the port engine it cuts power to the port side of the edc panel which tells the engine to stop cranking.
any thoughts?

Have you tried throwing your parralel switch in to rule out a low batt voltage.

First stage after that is connection checking and cleaning

So when I power up the edc panel I am able to Jump the starter on the engine and it runs fine, So that is the way I ruled out low voltage.

I guess I should start digging into connections ...
