Along with all that granite was a load of dunnage. Some baulks of timber up to a tonne in weight.
Harwich VTS broadcast a nav warning for all ships in the area last Saturday, reported sightings between the Sunk and Orfordness.

Heard a number of vessels sighting the timber. We saw a piece at the North Threshold buoy about 4m x 1m x 1m, big enought to do a little damage to any small boat.

On Sunday the coastguard were directing a couple of boats to areas that wind farm boats had spotted floating timber.
