20,000 Cyclists….

… will be crossing over Hampton Court Bridge next Sunday for the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 event followed later in the day by around 150 professionals following the same route.

As the event is completely closing all roads round where we live in Surrey we will be glad to be away on the boat for the weekend!

For some reason the mention of 20,000 cyclists reminds us ancient rockers from the 70's of Queen and Bicycle Race, am I showing my age

We'll be retreating to Penton at the weekend. The cyclists are going right past our home so it's the only way we can be sure of getting to work on Sunday morning.
